I grew up in the Great Lake State and attended Michigan State University for my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. I completed my Dietetic Internship alongside my Master of Science at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. In Buffalo. I worked throughout the Metro-Detroit region providing grocery store tours and teaching nutrition and cooking classes. While working in Detroit, I was able to explore my nutrition philosophy and aligned with the HAES model, mindful eating, and intuitive eating. I realized that my interest in nutrition was fueled by my passion for helping others to build healthy relationships with food, their bodies, and movement. I am actively pursuing my eating disorder certification (CEDRD) through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp). I am very excited to join the Nutritious Thoughts, LLCteam and continue working on supporting clients on their journey towards a healed relationship with food and their bodies!
