Meet Haley Schiek, owner & founder of Cosana Coaching. Haley is a Certified Professional Life Coach (CPC), Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher (E-CYT 250), and Certified Peer Educator (CPE), who specializes in eating disorder recovery and psycho-spiritual wellness.
- Haley integrates her professional training in western psychology and eastern spiritual practices with personal recovery experience to help clients release self-hate, reclaim their health, and experience peace with food after disordered eating.
- Haley specializes in supporting others in healing from chronic dieting, anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, compulsive exercising, orthorexia, body dysmorphia, and co-occurring coping mechanisms such as substance misuse, perfectionism, & people pleasing.
- Her recovery programs focus on restoring hope and personal power (as opposed to promoting discipline & control). Haley facilitates discussions about health using a holistic, systemic lens, taking particular care to understand how her clients socio-cultural status, gender, and identity intersect with external power structures (i.e. Diet Culture, Sexism, & “The Bikini Industrial Complex” ) to impact their mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.
- Haley has a decade of experience teaching yoga, facilitating classes & workshops across the United States, from the Coral Pink sand dunes of southern Utah to lakeside classes in northern Pennsylvania. For Haley, yoga is about learning to regulate the mind, connect with the heart, and care deeply for the body. Understanding that each individual is a source of divine knowledge, Haley facilitates classes that encourage students to connect to the teacher within.
- Haley offers 5 tiers of support, ranging from minimal or all virtual contact (1hr/month) to intensive in-person & virtual experiential outpatient programming (3-5hrs/week). Cosana’s services include:
