After earning a B.S. in Nutrition Science with a Minor in Sports Science, Margaret continued her education and earned a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Meredith College. Following graduation, Margaret interned at the UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders (CEED) before moving back home to the Mountains to complete her Dietetic Internship.
Margaret has always had a passion for baking and cooking, she enjoys experimenting with different foods and testing out recipes on her family. She combines her interest in sports and movement with the science of nutrition by teaching about proper fueling techniques for optimal athletic performance as well as assisting others in creating a positive relationship with food, body, and movement.
Margaret is in the process of becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD).
