Meyer, Drew – RD, LDN

Drew Meyer is a board certified Registered Dietitian specializing in eating disorder recovery. He enjoys working with his clients on reconnecting with their body and healing their relationship with food. He approaches nutrition therapy with openness, compassion, non-judgment, and research-based education.  He tailors his approach to his client’s current needs and partners with other providers (such as doctors, therapists, and psychiatrists) to provide the best outcomes for his clients.Drew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Sciences with a concentration in Dietetics from the University of Nebraska. His graduate level practicum focused on clinical nutrition support and treating disordered eating from a Health at Every Size approach. Drew’s prior experience includes hospital settings, as well as a residential, PHP (partial hospitalization program), and IOP (intensive outpatient program) of an eating disorder treatment facility. He is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), and the North Carolina Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Drew invites clients of all ages, genders, and backgrounds into his practice with the goal of creating a meaningful, nourishing relationship with food.
