After college, I was feeling adventurous and decided to move across the country to Bozeman, Montana where I completed my dietetic internship/graduate program with an emphasis in sustainable food systems at Montana State University. While out West, I traveled throughout the state of Montana and fell in love with its natural beauty and Bozeman’s progressive outlook on emerging public health issues. It was also during this time that I discovered my enthusiasm for nutrition counseling and serving those with eating disorders and disordered eating. After my internship, I stayed in Bozeman for a year doing farm-to-table work and continued to explore the Rocky Mountains. My love for Appalachia finally brought me back East where I landed in Asheville! My strong belief in the connection between the mind and body as a means of health fuels my passion to help others rebuild their relationship with food and trust their bodies in order to make lifelong changes. I’m so excited to pursue this passion with the Nutritious Thoughts team and I greatly look forward to connecting with and growing alongside clients!
