I work with individuals who want to live the moments of their days in a more engaged, authentic, and connected way. I believe that we all possess unique and inherent wisdom and that each of us has the power to create a life that is meaningful and satisfying. I approach the therapeutic process with empathy and an open mind, always. My hope is that you will feel safe and comfortable sharing your story with me so that we may put our heads together and see where the work needs to happen.
I treat adolescents and adults who are struggling with all eating disorder presentations, body image issues, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, mood disorders, personality disorders, substance use issues, transitional issues, and trauma-related disorders.
I am trained and experienced in evidence-based practices with demonstrated efficacy in the treatment of mental health concerns, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy informed skills training, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Attachment theory. In addition, I am a registered yoga teacher trained in trauma-informed yoga.
